Teaser Week

This week is teaser week. If you don’t know what teaser week is,
Teaser week is a week where you can do heaps of activities.
Like find out things about a famous actor or singer This was
very fun. I had to find out information about Lorde. My
favourite fact I found about Lorde was that she has a
neurological condition; Which means when she hears
sounds of music she can see colours. This condition
also includes strokes, migraine and multiple sclerosis.
We are also doing this to practise for the summer learning
journey in the holidays and so I can improve over the holidays.

  1. Kia ora Mihipeka,

My name is Olive and I’m one of the new blog commentators in the Kaikohekohe cluster this summer! I’m working the Teaser Week and I’m super excited to see all your blog activities!

Congratulations on completing your first activity! What an awesome post about Lorde! I’m really glad you enjoyed yourself when researching and completing this task! I have just as much fun reading about them! Wow, I didn’t know Lorde has neurological condition. It’s so sad that this comes with ailments like strokes and migraines. However she must be so inspired by all the colours she sees when she sings, or writes music. That’s a pretty amazing gift, don’t you think?

Do you have a favourite Lorde song? I love “The Love Club” - I know it’s one of her older songs but I think it’s incredible! Did you know that Lorde chose her artist name because she loved Royals like Marie Antoinette! If you were a singer-songwriter, what would your name be? I think I would have to go with something that reflects my personality, like Sunflowers!

Thank you for your lovely blog post and have fun completing the rest of the activities.

Feel free to check out my blog and get to know me a little better!

  2. Hi Mihi. It's Taleisha.

Great job on your first activity! The facts you included are really interesting. If my parents knew I was a dropout it would be in deep trouble. What about you?

Also, I am glad that you gave proper attribution for your image that you used.

    Great job Mihi!
