Kia ora, Today for summer learning journey I have been
Learning about Jean Batten and Amelia Earhart. Learning
about them was very interesting and fun to learn about.
For This activity I also had to write down the similarities
and differences between them.

Here it is.
Kia ora Mihipeka! How are you doing today? It’s super rainy here in Auckland! I hope Northland is treating you better weatherwise!
ReplyDeleteThank you for a lovely blog post. I really appreciate you used the venn diagram format - it makes your work look super professional and it’s also very clear to read. I think it’s so cool when women do outrageous, arguably crazy things that push a lot of buttons. Very inspiring. Ddi you know Amelia Earhart’s first plane was bright yellow and called, “The Canary” . Hahah, that’s such a cool name. I also love to name objects. My electric scooter is called ‘Gale” (after the Wind in Frozen 2, and because he goes as fast as the wind!). How about you, do you have anything you give a name to? Ka pai on a great post and I can’t wait to see what you come up with!
Remember you can comment on other bloggers’ posts for extra points! Have a wonderful day.
Ngā mihi,
Olive

ReplyDeleteKia ora Mihipeka! Olive from the Summer Learning Journey here! How are you doing?
ReplyDeleteWhat a great post! I really enjoyed learned about Jean Batten and Amelia Earhart! Aren't they just wonderful, inspirational women! Did you know that Amelia Earthart owned a yellow plane called "The Canary". I've got an electric scooter called "Gale", after the wind in Frozen 2. Have you watched that movie?
I notice you haven't been as active recently - maybe you're on holiday? Bad wifi connection? The dog ate your computer? Whatever the reason, my team and I would love to see more of your work! Don't give up, there are still two weeks of the program to go!
Ngā mihi,
Olive
