In Te Ngahere we have been learning about rockets and Newton's Law. Yesterday two men named Troy and Gustavo came in to our class to talk about what their interests were and what they do. Troy is interested in music, his animals and gaming. Troy works at the Far North District Council, he started as an engineering apprentice, he worked with roads, water, wastewater and stormwater. Currently he is working as a civil stormwater engineer. Another reason why they have come to our school was to teach us about the engineering and technology part about building little play rockets. Yesterday was the first day of our adventure with the Wonder Project. We have 7 more days with these two amazing people. I can't wait for the new things we can learn about during this new experience.
